First Female Lieutenant Gov of MN Joins She Leads Speaker Roster

We are pleased to announce that Marlene M. Johnson, the first woman lieutenant governor of Minnesota, will be one of our closing panelists at 2025 She Leads - Brainerd.

In 1983, Marlene became the first woman to hold the office of Lieutenant Governor of Minnesota. Last September, her book, "Rise to the Challenge: A Memoir of Politics, Leadership and Love" was published by the University of Minnesota Press. Magers and Quinn Booksellers are hosting a book event in Minneapolis on the evening of Tuesday, January 28th. Registration is required.
