Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce Women in Leadership Conference

On Monday, September 30th, nearly 400 leaders gathered for the Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce Women in Leadership Conference at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center to compare notes on what it means to lead in 2024.

It was an honor to speak on embodied leadership and to hear my extraordinary friend Jebeh Edmunds as the morning keynote….and to see so many of my friends all together in one place, bearing witness to this wondrous privilege of carving new pathways for today’s girls and young women. The icing on the cake was to have my twelve-year-old daughter, Norah, in the audience that afternoon.

So much courage, truth, connection, intelligence, beauty, strength, growth, and curiosity in one place. It was almost too much for my heart to hold. What a cup filler of a Monday.

Congratulations to Aubrey Hagen and everyone on the planning committee. And mad props to Matt Baumgartner for saying yes last year and investing in this awesome vision for our community.
